My colleagues motivate and inspire me to take my work one step further, every day!
I started my Schiphol adventure in 2015 when I was a second-year communications student. I was immediately sold, and began as a trainee. Based on my internship research, I wrote a strategic plan, which I am now implementing as an employee.
My colleagues motivate and inspire me to take my work one step further, every day! They are open to change. This makes Schiphol a fantastic first workplace. If you have good ideas, you can really make them happen.
At Schiphol you can discover projects that are the most fun and best suited to your talents.
My supervisor and I have the opportunity to discover together what projects are the most fun and best suited to my talents. I can also organise my work with flexibility, which gives me a great work-life balance.

My work challenges me.
Working on the future of Schiphol and its other airports inspires me in my day-to-day work, and allows me to use my knowledge and expertise. I’m challenged by finding a balance between society’s increasing needs for mobility, sustainability and capacity.
Being always connected to daily dynamics gives me energy.
I work as a Strategic Advisor, and my work brings me into contact with many departments at Schiphol. It's great to know that my colleagues are open to new ideas, and I also learn a lot from all aviation knowledge and experience that is present at Schiphol. Schiphol is a tremendously inspiring work environment. Even though my work is more geared toward long term goals, I always stay connected to the daily dynamics. This gives me the energy to work well with my colleagues to ensure that we remain Schiphol Europe's Preferred Airport!
