If you are an MBO, HBO or university student and looking for an internship in aviation – or perhaps a traineeship or start-up function – we’d love to help you get your career off to a flying start. Even if you’re right at the beginning of your career, read on to discover what Royal Schiphol Group can offer you.
Internships at Schiphol
We regularly offer challenging internships for MBO, HBO or WO students. Approximately 100 internships possibilities are created per year, which may be carried out in one of our dynamic and inspiring business areas, or at one of our Dutch airports. In addition to an instructive and challenging internship at Royal Schiphol Group, you also get the opportunity to discover the airport. For example, we organise an internship lunch every 6 months where you can get to know your fellow interns, internship supervisors and members of other departments at Royal Schiphol Group.
The internships are managed by Luchtvaart Community Schiphol (LCS), which is Schiphol’s internship agency. The LCS deploys the internship vacancies, arranges administration and organises events. They also keep in close contact with you, Schiphol’s departments, your internship supervisors and educational institution.
Royal Schiphol Group Traineeships for 2019
If you’re curious about the ins and outs of a major international airport – while still having the freedom to explore your career options – the Royal Schiphol Group Traineeship programme might be of interest to you. To take part, you need to have received your Masters degree within the past few years, have a maximum of two years work experience and be ready for a great new challenge!
Over two years, you will get to know Schiphol through individual and group assignments. A lot of attention will be given to digitalisation, AGILE ways of working, strategy development and change management during the programme. We also focus on your personal development and put you in the spotlight with senior management.
You will have a chance to gain knowledge and collaborate on many topics that involve Schiphol’s digital future. It’s guaranteed to be a varied and deeply educational challenge. A new group of enthusiastic trainees will be recruited in September 2019. Recruitment will begin in spring 2019, so please keep an eye on this website.
If you are more interested in a ‘normal’ starter function within Royal Schiphol Group rather than an internship, simply keep an eye out for new vacancies and/or create a job alert. You will then be among the first to be informed when new vacancies arise that meet your search criteria.
